Basketball Over/Under Picks for Monday Matches | NBA Playoffs Round 2 Betting
76ers at Heat Game 1 – UNDER 208 ½
The Miami Heat came into the playoffs as the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference, but with all 4 top seeds moving on, they now have a tough 2nd Round matchup versus the 76ers, with whom they split their regular season series. 6 of the last 10 meetings between these two teams have gone over the point total, but we are all well aware that things tend to tighten up a little in the postseason. There are several other factors to consider, such as the total going UNDER in 9 of the last 11 that Philly started as a road underdog, as well as the UNDER hitting in each of Miami’s last 5 games overall.
Mavericks at Suns Game 1 – OVER 215
Given how things went between these two in the regular season, where the Suns won all 3 games, the expectation is that Phoenix will move on rather quickly. Dallas will certainly have something to say about that, though, so look for them to try and come out strong in Game 1. The under had been trending of late for these teams, but there are some things that point to the OVER, including the Suns seeing 4 of their last 5 games going that route. In games coming after 3 or more rest days, the Mavs have seen the OVER hit in 9 out of 12 games.
Bucks at Celtics Game 2 – UNDER 215
The Milwaukee Bucks went on the road in Game 1 and promptly stole home court advantage from the Boston Celtics. That turns Game 2 into a bit of a must win proposition for the home team, so look for the Celtics to try and get out to a fast start as they look to control the game. The opening game of the series went UNDER the point total, which means that the Bucks have now seen 6 on a row go that way. The Celtics have now seen 3 of their last 4 games fall UNDER the point total.
Warriors at Grizzlies Game 2 – OVER 227 ½
The opening game of this series was a great one, with the Warriors getting the win on the road by a single point. That result might well serve as a bit of an insight into what might happen in Game 2 of the series, as the Warriors have seen each of their last 6 games after a straight up win go OVER the point total. Despite being at home, the Grizzlies come into Game 2 as an underdog, with 12 of their last 13 games carrying that label going OVER the point total.
