Severino had a no-decision in his previous start last Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays in New York. He lasted 4.2 innings and gave up three runs, five hits and two walks while striking out eight.

Severino has had success against the Orioles in his career with a 6-1 record and 3.59 ERA in 11 games (eight starts). He is 3-1 with 3.55 ERA in seven games (five starts) at Camden Yards.

In two road starts this season, Severino had no record and a 3.60 ERA. He is 2-0 with a 3.48 ERA in four starts at night.

Trey Mancini is 6 for 15 (.400) with a home run off Severino, whose AL Cy Young odds are +5500.

Bradish was outstanding last Tuesday against the Cardinals in St. Louis, earning his first career win in his third start while striking out 11 in seven innings. The Cardinals managed two runs on four hits and did not draw any walks off Bradish.

Bradish began the season at Triple-A Norfolk. In three starts, he was 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA.

This will be Bradish’s first career appearance against the Yankees. He is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in two starts at home and all three of his outings have been at night.

NYY vs BAL Betting Outlook

The Yankees managed five runs against the White Sox on just two hits Sunday.

Isaiah Kiner-Falefa singled during a three-run second inning in which the Yankees scored twice on bases-loaded walks and once on a wild pitch. Joey Gallo added a two-run home run in the ninth inning.

The Orioles struck out 16 times in their loss to the Tigers. Mancini’s ninth-inning solo homer kept Baltimore from being shut out for the second consecutive day.

Orioles shortstop Jorge Mateo left the game in the fourth inning with left shoulder and chest contusions and is considered day to day. He was injured when he collided with first baseman Spencer Torkelson while trying to beat out a bunt.

Left fielder Austin Hays missed the three-game series with a laceration on the back of his left hand. He is not expected to play Monday.

Hays is hitting a team-high .291 with three home runs in 31 games this season.

The Yankees have won four of six games against the Orioles this season but dropped two of three last month in Baltimore. New York holds a whopping 63-29 advantage in the series since the start of the 2017 season.

The Yankees’ Anthony Rizzo has gone 7 for 22 (.318) against the Orioles this season and Giancarlo Stanton is 10 for 24 (.417) with one double and one homer. Hays has hit .435 (10 for 23) with four doubles and a homer.
